A Taste of History 2026: Fundraising Gala for the Yellowstone County Museum in Billings, MT.

Join the Yellowstone County Museum and our annual sponsors at the Edwards Jet Center for an evening celebrating local history with music, food, and good friends. All funds raised will go towards achieving our 2025-2026 goals.

Thanks to your generous support, within just the last year the Museum was awarded national accreditation, completed a major construction project, and is near finishing the development of a youth education center. 2026 is shaping up to be another transformational year. Our key goal is to vastly expand educational programming. This includes summer camps, bringing rural students to the Museum, improving the Education Center, and continuing to host an annual field trip for all Billings 8th grade students.

The loss suffered by the Ghekiere, Schneider, Ireland, and Smith families is unimaginable. In the face of such tragedy, our community has shown what it means to stand together, lift each other up, and provide strength when it is needed most. As part of this citywide effort, The Windmill & Bar 51 is proud to host a Community Day of Support on Thursday, October 1, 2026. * On October 1st, join us anytime between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM, and 10% of all sales will be donated to support the families affected. Whether you stop by for lunch, dinner, drinks, or simply to be part of something meaningful, your visit will help make a difference. * The Hayden Quartet featuring Elana Hayden, Parker Brown, Mike Leslie & Trevor Krieger will provide live music from 6 PM to 8 PM! This week is about more than fundraising. It is about showing these families that they are not alone. Join us at the Roosevelt Center in Red Lodge, MT for The Roosevelt Sessions! This is an intimate, listening room-style music series, presented by Big Sky Bonus Tracks. Elana Hayden and the Sugar Daddies will play on the third floor of the Roosevelt Center's Gregory T Harper Recital Hall. Each show will be filmed to help promote the artist, the Roosevelt Center, and Big Sky Bonus Tracks. Beer and wine will be sold at each event for people of age. General admission seating.
